A lot of this thought and
feeling has rubbed off on me, giving me more incentive and inspiration
to settle down and attempt paintings of my own.
Living in a very pleasant part of the Rhymney Valley I
find many a paintable subject by walking over the Graig, gazing at the
hills, seeking out wild flowers and studying the light and shade of
each hour of the day. Nothing is overlooked, everything is considered
worthy of a painter`s brush.
One delight is enjoying and painting the flowers in my
garden. Flowers offer so much in colour and variety. Each flower, when
picked and placed for painting seems to have a character of it`s own.
Once painted, landscapes and flowers perpetuate their
charm and beauty for always. My aim is to create that tranquil
pleasure for you, my viewers, I hope you enjoy this selection.
