Hi, my name is Alma Jones and I have been a member
of the Bargoed and District Art Society for a number of years.
Although I have been painting for some time it was only recently,
when studying for my `A`level in Fine Arts at Bedwas Art Centre,
that my work took on new dimensions.
Now, my art takes
me in various directions but I am strongly influenced by natural
and organic forms. I would class my paintings as Expressionist.
I work mainly in
watercolour and mixed media. The illustrations show a small sample
of my paintings.
