Pat Hancock

I have lived in Nelson, South Wales, for most of my life and am married with four grand-children. I have always been interested in drawing, but until my children left home did not have the time to attend classes and learn more

Along with two friends I have enjoyed many classes at the Bedwas Centre and elsewhere. In the year 2000 we completed our A level successfully.

My favourite medium is pastel. I like sketching with charcoal but enjoy mixed media and trying to find out different techniques. I am attending water-colour classes at the moment and find it difficult, but if all else fails I add a bit of pastel and hope for the best.

I am a member of Bargoed and District Art Society and learn quite a lot by talking to other members. We hold an annual exhibition and I usually enter some of my paintings. I hope you like some of the ones I have selected for `Ken`s Gallery`.
