I was born at the Rock,
Argoed and now live on a little hill farm at Bedwellty where the
views in all directions are delightful, encouraging me to paint
whenever I have the time.
I attended Lewis School
Pengam during the War years when my interest in painting was
triggered, although facilities were poor and opportunities to
visit art galleries non-existant.
I started painting just prior
to my retirement at 60 from a careers in mechanical engineering,
35 years as a design and project engineer after a short service
in the RAF and an apprenticeship with the English Electrical
Company at Rugby.
